Do you leak urine when you laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise?
New research study. Medication-free, noninvasive approach.
No cost to participate.

Nearly 1 in 3 women experience bladder leaks
Millions of women suffer from unexpected bladder leaks during normal physical activities – a condition known as Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). These leaks can happen during activities such as:
- Laughing
- Sneezing
- Coughing
- Exercising
SUI can greatly diminish a woman’s quality of life, and often limits professional, social, sexual, and recreational activities.
Right now, doctors at select centers in the US are conducting a new clinical study that may be able to help called the SaHARA Study. The study is for a medication-free, noninvasive investigational therapy designed to reduce or eliminate unexpected bladder leaks.
About the SaHARA Study
SUI happens when the muscles around the urethra are not strong enough to keep the urethra closed when pressure is applied to the bladder, and urine accidentally leaks out. Over 80% of all cases of urine leakage involve weak muscles around the urethra.
The SaHARA Study is evaluating a new investigational treatment for SUI designed to strengthen the muscles around the urethra without surgery or medications. The study uses a device called SUI-100™ to perform a series of treatments called acoustic pulse therapy. Acoustic pulse therapy uses energy from sound waves to stimulate the muscles around the urethra with the goal of making them stronger – just like exercise does for other muscles in your body.
The SaHARA Study is currently being offered at select US centers. If you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive the SUI-100 therapy and all study-related care at no cost.

Why Participate?
If you’ve been struggling with unexpected bladder leaks (stress urinary incontinence) you may be eligible for the SaHARA Study. The study is for a medication-free, noninvasive investigational therapy designed to reduce or eliminate unexpected bladder leaks.
If you qualify and choose to join the SaHARA Study, you will receive:
- Evaluations of your SUI from a local physician specialist
- The SUI-100™ therapy and all study-related care at no cost
- Compensation for time and travel to attend study visits
- The opportunity to help advance SUI research to potentially benefit other women living with SUI
